Raymond N. Cecora, PT, DPT, MS
Raymond N. Cecora PT, DPT, MS is the founder of Raymond N. Cecora PTPC DBA, Park Physical Therapy in Massapequa, NY. He graduated from Downstate Medical Center in May of 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. He then continued his education at Touro College, receiving his Advanced Masters Degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in June of 2004. Following his Master's degree, he completed his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in May of 2005. In addition, he is a certified ergonomics assessment specialist as well as a personal trainer. He has a unique perspective in the field of physical therapy. In September of 1983, he sustained a severe spinal cord trauma that left him critically injured and paralyzed. Consequently, he attended four years of physical therapy to learn how to walk again. It was at this time that he developed a great respect for the field of physical therapy. As a patient and clinician, he has developed a deep understanding of physical dysfunction that has enabled him to help thousands of people recover from injury, illness, and surgery.
